Biography

James Woodhouse is director of Woodhouse Mountaineering. He was born in East Africa and educated in Australia and the UK. After graduating from UCL he attended Sandhurst and was commissioned into the British Army. Since leaving the army he has worked for John Lewis Partnership and in the 'not for profit' sector.

James has been climbing and mountaineering for 10 years and is a member of the Association of Mountaineering Instructors. He has worked with the national mountain centre at Glenmore, and with Waitrose Ltd.

James has continued to pursue his career in delivering experiences outside the reach of the everyday.
